Dishwashers have evolved significantly in the last decade. They are more energy efficient than ever and have more spray arms then they did in the past. As you might imagine, like all other appliances, dishwashers come with a variety of options. The good thing about dishwashers is they are standard in size. They are all 24 inches wide. This removes any worries that the new one might not fit in the old one's place. There are numerous options that could be valuable for your family. Of these, there are two options that I really like. The first option is the high temperature wash option. This features increases the temperature of the water so it can clean and sanitize soiled dishes. The other option that I recommend is the delay start cycle. This option is my wife's favorite. She can have the dishwasher come on in the middle of the night so we don't have to listen to it run in the evening. She then wakes up in the morning with her favorite coffee cup clean and ready for her morning coffee. Some of the other options are stainless steel inner tubs, electronic controls and hidden controls which are not visible when the dishwasher is closed. There also is a different type of dishwasher known as a dish drawer dishwasher. It has 2 drawers that pull out just like a dresser. If you don't have a big load of dishes, you can run only one drawer. There are a few manufacturers that make this kind of product. Also, lets not forget about the portable dishwasher. They are still available for those of you who don't have the cabinet space to install a built-in one. They also come with most of the options that a built-in dishwasher has. What do you think?
